    • The flow conditions in the pump suction sump are very complex, there are kinds of vortices in and around the pump bell, these are common problems, which lead to poor pump performance. PIV technologies are used to measure the flow conditions in the model of pump suction sump, and the data of the experiments are analyzed to obtain the characteristic of the turbulence on the measurement planes.
