    Space Application of a Sunlight Collection, Transmission and Distribution System

    • One of the basic problems which must be solved in space travels is how to utilize sunlight in a possibly efficient way to plant. Energy wastes and thermal radiation to plants will be incurred when highly energy-intensive artificial light lamps are used for plants. Currently, solar energy is the only free energy which could be obtained from the space when human beings have space travelling. This paper introduced the researches focused on a sunlight collection, transmission and distribution system for space travel in USA. The paper believes that proper use of the system in space travel will be beneficial by reducing the demand of artificial lamps.
