Experimental Research on Ecological Multilayer Equipment for Turtle Culture

The working principles of the ecological multilayer equipment for turtle culture were described in this paper. Results obtained from experiments showed that the water in this system could be reused through recycling if the water was under biological treatment by use of azolla. The concentration of NH⁺₄-N in the water was less than 10 mg/L obviously, in comparison with fish farming, the advantages of the equipment are higher in population density, less water requirment and good for intensive culture of turtle.
