Mathematical Model for Simulating Water Flow and Solute Transport During Non-steady Diffusion From Subsurface Trickle Source

    • A three-dimensional axi-symmetrical model was developed to describe water flow and solute transport in variably saturated, rigid and homogeneous soil with subsurface drip irrigation and fertigation. A new hypothesis to simplify the boundary condition at the vicinity of emitters is used and tested in this model. Results of simulation was verified by the results of laboratory test.
