GIS-Based Irrigation Water-Use Management System

Based on the detailed research on function demanding and the relationship among the function models of system, this paper summarized the several important problems and methods, emphases are placed on aspects such as the database and model base of water-use management system. A GIS-based on water-use management system was developed by using object oriented approach and Visual Basic 5.0. The efficiency of the management can be greatly improved by using this system. At the end, it also contributes a view for the improvement of the system.
