    Numerical Simulation for Incompressible Turbulent Flow in Impellers of Double-Channel Pumps

    • The 3-D turbulent flow in the impellers of double channel pump was simulated. By using the time averaged N-S equations and the k-ε turbulent model modified to consider the curvature and rotation, applying SIMPLE C algorithm to make pressure velocity correction equation, the calculation was carried out with Body fitted Coordinated grid. The calculated velocity, pressure and turbulent kinetic energy distributions of the turbulent flow in double channel pumps were given for the first time, which will be helpful for the optimal design and performance prediction of double channel pumps on the basis of flow field simulation.
