    Rapid Finalization for Drip Irrigation Emitters Based on Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing

    • This paper describes the rapid finalization process of emitter which is the key part in drip irrigation system. The generation of emitter structural CAD model according to emitter structure design, and the building of emitter prototypes and its integrative experimental model based on rapid prototyping & manufacturing(RP&M) are introduced in detail. The hydraulic test on emitters shows that the product properties are fine and the emitter producing cost is decreased. The finalized emitter can be directly applied in irrigation experiments and practice, and hence the rapid manufacturing of emitter can be realized.
