Abstract
The paper aims at building a cotton production Management System based on the validated CottonPlus(MSCP) simulation model for Xinjiang and Huang-Huai-Hai regions in China. By applying the techniques of the crop simulation model and knowledge engineering, the MSCP can determine the decision-making parameters for optimal multi-objectives, optimal cultivation for the all-growth season and on-time production. The computer simulation experiments for optimal cultivation decision-making for the all-growth season in Xinjiang were made using the MSCP. The test results show that production objectives can be obtained by following the suggested cultivation method. The conclusion is that the establishment of the MSCP brings the development of management system based on the simulation model into practice.
