    Design and experimental study on a new rice seed-coating and direct sowing machine

    • A new kind of rice seed coating and direct sowing machine was designed in order to solve the problems in rice seed-coating and bud-leaf accelerating. The structure and working principle of the feeder were described. This machine can coat the wet accelerated rice seed with superfine. The results from installation and field experiments indicated both of the correct rate of coating and sowing are over 85%. The inconstant coefficient rate is less 25% and the broken rate is less 2%. That can reach the requirements for coating and precision sowing. It can complete seed coating and sowing continuously without seed drying, packaging and storing process.
