Design of cotton-stalk grinding harvester

With cutting and impacting action of rotating flail, cotton-stalk is ground into small pieces, and then stripping with inertia and air current generated by high-speed rotating flail. Based on theories and field experiments, this paper analyzed the basic principle, main parts and related parameters, and thus cotton-stalk harvest grinder matched with medium-horsepower tractors was designed and manufactured.
