Fuel ethanol production by distiller biomass fermentation

Abstract
The technology of fuel ethanol production by solid fermentation with distiller biomass was studied. The yield of fuel ethanol reached 4.18% under the condition as follows: α-amylase 0.05%, glucoamylase 0.06%, cellulase 0.8%, TH-AADY 0.4‰, the acidity of distiller biomass was 3.0, the water content was 60% and the initial temperature was 22~24℃; the fermentation lasts 9 days. The middle test shows that 4.03% fuel ethanol could be taken by this technology normally. This study provided a new way to utilize distiller biomass resources efficiently, eliminate environmental pollution of distiller biomass and exploit renewable energy.
