    Forming technology of variable-data rolling and application in manufacturing of farming taper leaf spring

    • The variable data rolling forming that is variable cross-section rolling forming, is a new technological method which has a bright future in the building technique, using the rolling method to produce work-pieces or semi-finished products. Basic principle of the variable data rolling forming technology is introduced in this paper. When variable cross-section rolling, roll gap opening changes with the preset data which is the function of the length of work-piece. The influence on precision of work-piece thickness by preset gap and rolling force as well as mill rigidity, is analyzed. The application of the variable data rolling is introduced by example of the forming theory and manufacturing process of taper leaf spring of farming machinery and vehicle and truck. The variable data rolling forming will become the major methods to produce work-piece which has variable section structure.
