Abstract
The structure and the working process of a slideway parting-bowl-wheel transplanter, the movement and the forced states of a bowl(with soil and seedling) on the slideway were analyzed. The working stability and the seedling-standing ratio of this transplanter were tested and analyzed by the orthogonal and single-factor tests methods. The prior order of the influencing factors for the working stability of the transplanter is moisture content, bowl side shape, and slideway obliquity. The optimal values of the three influencing factors on the working stability were found out. The prior order of the influencing factors for the seedling-standing ratio of the tranplanter is height of throwing bowl, advancing velocity of the equipment, and slideway obliquity for testing with covering. That for testing without covering is height of throwing bowl, slideway obliquity, and advancing velocity. The optimal values of the three influencing factors on the seedling-standing ratio were also found out.
