Development of automated grading system for cucumbers
Researches on the machine vision technology for the grading of agricultural products were reviewed. Grading criteria for cucumber were outlined. A machine vision system was developed which consists of an illumination chamber, colour CCD camera, frame grabber, microcomputer, image monitor, picking robot and conveyors. Hardware and software system of the grading system are designed in general.
