    Design and testing of the automatic target detecting, electrostatic, air assisted orchard sprayer

    • The new tractor mounted automatic target detecting, electrostatic, air assisted, orchard sprayer has the advantages of light weight, high efficiency, pesticide savings, and being environmentally friendly. The sprayer can intermittently spray by automatically detecting its targets with an infrared sensor, saving 50%~75% on pesticide consumption, compared with continuous spraying; at the same time the key technological problem of air assisted low spray volume was solved. Through this new sprayer the technology of electrostatic spraying can be realized.
