Abstract
The returning of mountain farming land to forestry and grassland is a key measure for a comprehensive control of environment. The irrationality of rural energy consumption structure and backward energy consumption manners are ones of crucial reasons in destroying forest vegetation. The implementation of the returning of mountain farming land to forestry and grassland must properly settle rural energy problems. The article, through an analysis, puts forward the adjustment of rural energy consumption structure in the region of the returning of mountain farming land to forestry and grassland to change consumption structure of energy using straw and fuel wood as main energy and to devote major efforts to developing biogas and extending coal instead of firewood, and to gradually build up multi-energy consumption structure using biogas as the main and coal, electricity and fuel wood as the supplements.
