Corn rootstalk and residue cutting mechanism of no-tillage planter

    • The opener of the no-tillage planter often cannot penetrate into the soil with corn rootstalks. In order to solve this problem, a new method of dealing with corn rootstalk blocking was put forward and a new scheme of no-tillage planter equipped with corn rootstalk and residue cutting mechanism has been developed. The key parameters of the mechanism were optimized. Performance test results in the no-tillage corn rootstalk field show that the sample machine has a good ability to cut and dig corn rootstalk so that there is no rootstalk in the seed bed.
