    Experimental study on mixing performance of the twin-shaft paddle rotating mixer

    • The working principle of the twin-shaft paddle rotating mixer was discussed in this paper. And the "three-factor quadratic regression orthogonal rotary method" was adopted to study mixing performance of the mixer,after the machine had been designed and trial-produced. It was showed that the optimum technological parameters for mixing time, block coefficient and rotary speed of the paddle shaft were 180 s, 0.75 and 56 r/min, respectively. At the same time, the remains in the bin was little (0.015%). The effect could meet premix feed technological demands, and the results provide reference for improving design.
