Greenhouse ecosystem health calling system using short message

In order to solve the problem that the circumstance parameters are monitored easily in the solar greenhouse, greenhouse ecosystem health calling system using short message constructed by W78E58 and WMOD2B GSM modem in the IPMIST lab was developed. This system consists of the RS232 and data acquisition system. When temperature and humidity of the greenhouse are higher or lower than those that are suitable for growth of crops, the system will automatically send short message to tell the user current environmental status of greenhouse, so that the user can control the greenhouse circumstance parameters in time. In addition, the user can set the mobile phone number at random and ranges of temperature and humidity to the GSM modem by sending short message. The system is characterized by simple construction, reliability service and economy. The development and use of the system prove the feasibility of applying short message to greenhouse monitoring.
