Research progress of models for predicting ruminant methane emissions

Methane is an important greenhouse gas. The ruminants are one of the main methane sources. According to the information of literature, the author summarized the study on predictable models for methane emissions, especially analyzed and compared several regression equations and mechanistic models in this paper. Finally, based on the condition in China, some issues for further study were discussed.
