    Model of economic transportation distance for land consolidation project

    • Transportation distance is one of key factors that affect total budget of land consolidation project. The paper analyzes the feature of excavation and fill of land consolidation project and develops the model of economic transportation distance applying the principle of transportation modeling. The paper takes Lixian Land Consolidation Experimental Project of Daxing District in Beijing as a case to test the model. Comparing the results of the model to one of experience model, it is proved that the economic transportation distance model is practical. However, cell size classificated has great impact on the calculation results. So the users of the model should select optimal cell size according to the demands of budget and construction.
