Abstract
The feasibility of a new pretreatment technology of extrusion and expansion of rapeseed for solvent extraction of rapeseed oil was studied. The new pretreatment technology of rapeseed includes cleaning of rapeseed, milling of rapeseed with hull, and extruding and expanding of rapeseed, solvent extraction of oil for rapeseed extrusion. The influences of parameters (diameter of die nozzle, barrel temperature, material moisture and screw speed) of extrusion expansion system for solvent extraction of rapeseed oil on observed indices (residual oil ratio of rapeseed extrudate, ratio of bearing oil of rapeseed extrusion and ratio of extract oil of extracting cage) were analyzed. The optimal parameters of extrusion expansion system are as follows: diameter of die nozzle 8~12 mm, barrel temperature 105~125℃, material moisture 6.6% and screw speed 35~55 r/min. The results indicate that the new pretreatment technology of rapeseed including cleaning of rapeseed, milling of rapeseed with hull, extruding and expanding of rapeseed and solvent extraction of rapeseed oil is feasible. Residual oil ratio of rapeseed is lower. This pretreatment technology can provide references for practical production.
