Abstract
Northern China Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Interlaced Zone(NCAAHIZ) is one of sensitivity ecological zones affected by climate changes, it plays a key role in preserving agriculture ecosystem to serve function in Northern China. In this paper, based on this issue, the progresses in crop yield monitoring and estimating were analyzed; the main problems in studying crop yield on spatial and temperate scales were discussed; and the main methods for studying crop production were put forward. It is important for researchers to understand the effects of climate changes on agriculture and crop production in NCAAHIZ of China.
