Review of structural characteristics analysis of the long-path emitters for microirrigation

Considering the development trend of long-path emitters, this paper reviews the analyses of the long-path emitters conducted by many scholars at home and abroad from such three respects as theoretical analysis, experimental study and numerical simulation. In the light of that, the rapid development approach to emitters based on relevant platform technology was presented and its feasibility was analyzed. Some experimental schemes were proposed on the basis of characteristic parameters extraction. Focused on the research directions of labyrinth long-path emitter, some suggestions combined with study methods on microchannel were presented, which would be helpful to develop high quality emitter products.
