    Numerical simulation of the effect of channel section shape on the inner flowing of vortex pump

    • The inner flowing status of vortex pump was analyzed for the first time through numerical simulation of the inner flowing field of vortex pump with different channel section shapes. The effects of channel section shape on the inner flowing of vortex pump were testified. The results of the numerical simulation are identical with the former experiments. So it provides important theoretical basis for the perfect of the design method of vortex pump and the further research work.
