    Review of non-destructive quality evaluation technology for fruit and vegetable products

    • This paper presents an overview of various quality evaluation techniques that are based on one of the flowing properties: electrical properties, optical reflectance and transmission, sonic vibration, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR), aromatic volatile emission, firmness, vibration characteristics and others. Some new issues of nondestructive detection are proposed and the comprehensive utilization of several nondestructive techniques is the trend for quality evaluation and sorting of fruits and vegetables in the future.
