    Debris flow hazard mapping and land use planning

    • Debris flow is a natural disaster that happens in mountaineous areas and is affected by many natural conditions and human activities. In the process of economy development of mountaineous areas, the effects by debris flow must be taken into account. This paper analyzed the cause and characteristics of the debris flows and assessed the hazard grade of the study area. Then, some guidances were put forward for land use planning. These suggestions must be valuable to guarantee the economic development in mountaineous areas.
