Abstract
It was studied that corn yield was limited by aridity and lower temperature. The production patterns of mechanized complete cornstalk cover without furrow and sowing in channel beside film mulching were studied, and in winter, the cornstalk was rolled down for covering and the farmland was furrowed by machine. In planting time, ridging in field and film mulching in band, sowing beside it in channel and cornstalk covering in row, it was proved to be helpful to collect and store water, maintain soil moisture and soil temperature. As a result, comparing the technology with conventional deep tillage in uncovered soil, it is noticeable that corn output, water storage, retaining soil moisture and soil temperature were improved.
