Design of the monitoring system for quality and safety of industrialized hog production

Based on database technology, distributed network technology, the monitoring system for quality and safety of industrialized hog production was researched and developed successfully in pork quality management field. The system utilized domestic and foreign statutes or standards of pork-safety production for monitoring, management in the hog growth course. Emphasis was placed on monitoring feedstuff, animal drug and environment. The system offered many functions including data input, information storage, data query, information analysis, warning for infringed statutes or standards. Pork safety can be ensured starting from hog raising, pork production, enhancing pork quality, and increasing consumer's confidence to safety of pork is the main purpose of system development.
