    Crop water stress index model for monitoring summer maize water stress based on canopy surface temperature

    • The crop water stress index (CWSI) model for monitoring summer maize water stress in North China Plain (NCP) was set up in this paper. Through diverse experiments and precise scientific observation, test results showed that the non-water-stress-baselines for summer maize in NCP were proved to be credible during different growth periods. Primary analysis and validation showed that the model was reasonable, and it could be applied to monitor summer maize water stress.
