Development of cropland resources use block patterns using goal-oriented approach

Taking Pujiang County in Zhejiang Province as a case area, based on the target guideline, the cropland resources of Pujiang were optimized according to the available resources conditions and the probable technique measures in the future. Eleven land units and 23 land use types were set up based on the cropland resources of Pujiang county and GIS as a tool using the goal-oriented approach. The cropland resource use block patterns were set up on the basis of the input and output of different land use types at different land units calculated by TechnoGIN and the traditional planting pattern.
