Abstract
A technology called Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) was used on surfaces of several typical plant leaves, various non-smooth surface characteristic types were divided into several categories and described then. Quantized index determination was used for hydrophobicity and anti-stickness of non-smooth leaf surface by means of equipment. The analytic results were as follows: the morphology of epidermal cell and cuticular wax as well as distribution density directly affect its effects of hydropholicity and anti-stickness, it was further pointed out that epidermal cell morphology and distribution density are the leading factors of getting rid of adhesion. Effects of getting rid of adhesion have discriminations in accordance with the variety of morphology and distribution density of cuticular wax. The study provides surface processing modeling and appearance designing of bionics engineering with important information sources.
