    Experimental research on drying characteristics of pineapple leaf fiber

    • This paper introduced the drying experiment of pineapple leaf wet fiber with a hot airflow drying device. To study the drying characteristics, different airflow temperatures and velocities were chosen. The experimental results showed that the changing rate of fiber moisture was declining in the whole process, and the drying mathematical model was developed with multiple element regression method according to the drying curves. Through the orthogonal experiment, it was concluded that the material thickness affected the drying productivity mostly, sequentially was the temperature, the original moisture content and the airflow velocity.
