    Stochastic simulation model for winter wheat irrigation

    • In consideration of the effects of stochastic factors, such as meteorological factors and the like, on winter wheat irrigation, the stochastic model of evapotranspiration, developed by using time series method, was introduced into the field water balance equation and the stochastic simulation model for winter wheat irrigation was derived thereof. The application of this stochastic simulation model in the water-saving irrigation of winter wheat in the Lizhuang Town of Shangqiu City indicated that the results had accorded fairly well with the actual situation of winter wheat water requirement. The biggest error margin is 4.7 percent only, and the stochastic simulation model can be used for the irrigation plan of winter wheat.
