Standard system for China rural renewable energy development

After 20 years of construction and development, the rural renewable energy standard system with Chinese characteristics has been formed and it has played an active and irreplaceable role in promoting rural renewable energy technology and product research and development, demonstration, extension and large-scale application. The article reviews the development process of China's rural renewable energy standardization work, compares the domestic standards with those formulated by foreign standard institutes and identifies the major problems with China's rural renewable energy standard system construction and the gap between the domestic and the foreign standard systems and some practical recommendations are put forward.
