    Land consolidation sub-zoning: a case study of Daxing district of Beijing

    • In order to find out the types and orientations of regional land consolidation during the special planning of land consolidation at various levels, the practical criteria for land consolidation were formulated, which provide bases for evaluating the land use potentials and land consolidation sub-zoning. The aim of dividing land consolidation sub-zone is to establish the criterion of land consolidation and supply land consolidation potentiality evaluation. Daxing district is taken as the case to study. First, ten indexes were chosen according to the differences of natural resources and economic development. Then applying the method of constellation clustering, Daxing district can be divided into 3 sub-zones, which are north economic developmed sub-zone, east grain production sub-zone and south-middle integrated development sub-zone. The study showed that the result of sub-zoning was fit for the fact of Daxing district. In the end, the land consolidation type and orientation of each sub-zone were discussed in this article.
