    Present situation and developmental tendency on system of water-saving irrigation of vegetable production in protective cultivation

    • The effect of water-saving irrigtion on vegetable growth and development was analyzed, and the characteristics and existing problems of various irrigation methods in the process of vegetable production were evaluated. The water consumption characteristics of protected cultivation of vegetables were analyzed, and the required conditions of a good irrigation system suitable for protected cultivation were presented. Based on the above research results, the approach to establishing the optimized irrigation schedule for vegetable production was put forward, and the preliminary feasibility was analyzed.
