Mulch type of protected cultivation under simple constructions on Hami-melon growing in Hainan

By making use of off-season tropical climate of Hainan province and applying the technology of protected cultivation, Hami-melon can be planted in Hainan province, and its quality can compared with its original habitat—Xinjiang Autonomous Region. This paper reported the study result from planting off-season hami-melon in Hainan province by applying different mulch types of protected cultivation under simple constructions.
