Abstract
The characteristics of stylosanthes cv. Reyan 2 in the drying process studied through thin-layer rapid-drying experiments. The changing equations were determined among drying speed and the temperature of drying medium, moisture content and drying time, the loss of crude protein and the temperature of drying medium. The relationships among all the parameters were analyzed. The results showed that the fresh pasture had to be dried rapidly within eight hours after being harvested. The proper temperature for rapid-drying of the pasture was 140~180℃.
