Abstract
The calcareous soil which was collected from main peanut cultivated areas in Shandong Province was utilized to investigate the different effects of Bordeaux nutrition protective powder(BNPP-NFe, BNPP-EFe, BNPP-RFe) and Kocide on iron-deficiency chlorosis and biological activity of peanuts. The research results indicated that chlorophyll content, active iron content and total iron content in young leaves of peanuts increased differently by spraying BNPP-NFe, compared with CK(the treatment which only sprayed water). Besides, the yield of peanuts with BNPP-NFe, BNPP-EFe and BNPP-RFe treatments increased from 92% to 115%, from 67% to 98% and from 90% to 94%, respectively, as compared to CK. In addition, compared with Kocide, active iron content and total iron content in young leaves of peanuts by spaying BNPP-NFe significantly increased from 77.12% to 139% and from 29.01% to 120%, respectively. Moreover, the yield of peanuts with BNPP-NFe treatment increased from 27.5% to 36.7%, but BNPP-EFe and BNPP-RFe had no significant difference, compared with Kocide. As a result, the effect of BNPP-NFe was the best among three different Bordeaux nutrition protective powders.
