    Optimization of the technology for extracting β-ecdysone from tussore(larva)

    • The effects of temperature, ethanol concentration, the ratio of material to liquid and extraction time on extraction of β-ecdysone from tussore(larva) were studied by response surface methodology. The extraction parameters, according to the yield of β-ecdysone from tussore, were optimized as follows: the ratio of material to liquid is 1∶20, the alcohol concentration is 40%, extracted at 80℃ for 2.5 hours. The extracted β-ecdysone was separated and purified by HPD600 type macroporous adsorbent resins, desiccated by refrigeration, and mensurated by ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy. As a result, the yield of β-ecdysone was 0.0842%.
