    Theoretical model of the crop water stress index for monitoring summer maize water stress based on canopy surface temperature

    • The theoretical model of the crop water stress index(CWSI) for monitoring summer maize water stress in North China Plain(NCP) was established in this paper. The values of the minimum canopy resistances, the zero-plane displacement and the roughness length were explored and analyzed at different development stages of summer maize.
