    Effects of magnetic field on drying of paddy rice

    • Traditional drying of paddy rice has the disadvantages of great energy consumption, the low germination rate and high fissure ratio, applying the magnetic field into the drying process can lower the humidity and keep good quality of paddy rice fast and economically. Comparing variations of drying time, germination rate and fissure ratio after drying process of paddy were enhanced by the magnetic field. The result shows that drying time is shortened by the most 5%, germination rate increases and fissure ratio decreases. Last, the mechanism of magnetic field on drying process of paddy rice was discussed on the basis of experiment.
