    Effects of super absorbent polymers on water saving and irrigation schedule for apple irrigation

    • Effects of super absorbent polymers on apple irrigation were analyzed. By observing the dynamic change of soil moisture with neutron moisture meter(CNC503DR), the irrigation was conducted combined the soil moisture with different dosages of super absorbent polymers, and the irrigation base line of soil moisture. Results show that the water use efficiency is improved, the dosages of 200 g per tree is the best level in the experiment, and the irrigative water saved by 900 m3/hm2. Fruit tree irrigation schedule with super absorbent polymers was analyzed, and the irrigation schedule in different rainfall years was put forward.
