    Approach to calculating bending rigidity of rubber-reinforced track of tractors and its experimental verification

    • The method for calculating asymmetric bending rigidity along tractor rubber-reinforcement track, is the foundation to design rubber-reinforced track. The conventional calculation method for tractor rubber-reinforced track bending rigidity considers rubber-reinforcement track as an even composite of rubber and reinforcement, so the calculation error is relatively big. The authors carried on research through the methods of theoretical derivation and experimental verification. A certain theory relationship between design parameter and bending rigidity of rubber-reinforced track was obtained. It introduced the method of converting asymmetric bending rigidity along the tractor rubber-reinforced track. And the results of theoretical calculation and experimental values are in good agreement.
