Abstract
In this paper, the engine output torque model and fuel consumption model were established based on engine test results. The engine rotary speed feature denotes the relationship between the engine rotary speed and the throttle opening when engine works in the optimal modes of economic and power operation. On the basis of the above work, the matching strategy for hydro-mechanical continuously variable transmission(HMCVT) system with the engine was studied. According to the different kinds of fieldwork, the working conditions were divided into three operating models; the realization schemes that the HMCVT system matches with the engine were explained in various working models. The research provides useful information for designing HMCVT system of tractor and improving productivity of tractor.
