Problems in currently raising broiler duck and the counterstrategy

For a long time China has been a big area of poultry industry，especially waterfowl .The duck number in the world was 0.773 billion in 1998， and in China it was 0.513 billion，taking over 66.4% of the world duck . In 2004， the slaughtered duck amount of the world was 2.253 billions and Chinese duck was 1.682 billion， occupying 74.7% of the total amount of the world . Recently Chinese broiler duck industry was developing quickly，a large number of full-set enterprises were built due to less cost of broiler duck feeding than quick-growth-big broiler，the economic benefit was 1.5～2.0 RMB yuan per duck. However，there were many problems in duck feeding，including breeder，diseases control measure， feeding equipment and feeding management technique etc. They directly limited healthy development of Chinese duck industry. Then this paper focused on conclusion and analysis over these problems and rendered the idea dealing with them. In addition，one new feeding technique for healthy boiler breeder was provided which should promote healthy development of broiler duck industry of China in the future.
