Research on Microorganism treatment of Wastewater in Broiler Chicken Slaughterhouse

Wastewater in broiler chicken slaughterhouse was measured with the indexes of pH value, opacity, ammonia nitrogen concentration, nitrite nitrogen concentration,BOD₅ and COD_mn. Rhodopseudomonaspalustris, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and effective microorganisms (EM) were selected and added to the wastewater singly or in different combination. Results indicated that microorganism treatment of Rhodopseudomonaspalustris, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and EM is the best,the suitable proportion is 25:25:1, and the dosage is 0.01%.
