Abstract
Food security has been an urgent problem with the increasing of population, developing of social economy and decreasing in the area of cultivated land. Based on the status of mountain, hill and piedmont plain grain comprehensive productive capacity was analyzed in Shijiazhuang City. Three indicators including the self-sufficient, reservoir level and amount of grain holding per person were provided to evaluate the threshold of food security. The suggestions in the grain production stability, resources protection and economic feasibility were proposed.
