    Simplified analytic model of border irrigation water movement based on water balance principle

    • Border irrigation current advancement process model plays an important role to determine irrigation technical index, average field infiltration rate and roughness coefficient. Based on water balance model, the change of figure coefficients of infiltration water and surface water storage under border irrigation was analyzed. The power index of movement distance and time has little influence on the figure coefficient of infiltration water in the course of surface water movement, which can be substituted by a stable value. A simplified analytic model of border irrigation on the basis of water balance principle was set up and testified by some research results and field experiments. Results show that the model is simple and accurate, which can be used to determine the reasonable technical index of border irrigation.
